Day by Day

While it is our intention to adhere to the route described, there is a certain amount of flexibility built into the itinerary and on occasion it may be necessary, or desirable, to make alterations. On Day 1 of the tour, you will be advised of any amendments.

DAY 1 - Arrival

Upon arrival to Panama, a representative of our company will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your city hotel for your first night in Panama. Panama City is the capital and largest city in the country. It is home to a diverse blend of cultures and an enormous historical sector in the old city. The lively and vibrant banking district is very modern and often compared to Miami. Panama City is a thrilling location, you will surely enjoy during your visit to this gorgeous country.

DAY 2 - Panama City

In the early morning, you will be transferred from your hotel to the local airport in Panama City for your flight to Bocas del Toro. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airstrip in Bocas Town and transferred by car to the Bocas Town Hotel. Isla Colon is the largest and most developed island of the archipelago. It is home to the provincial capital of Bocas del Toro, a colorful town made of wooden houses built in the early 20th century. Isla Colon serves as a convenient hub for exploring the archipelago as water taxis can bring you away to remote beaches and magnificent snorkeling sites. The appeal of Bocas is basically slowing down and soaking up the Caribbean vibes. The island offers a friendly and laid back atmosphere which invites you to stay and feel at home. Even though the charming Isla Colon is in the middle of a major development boom, it still preserves its original Caribbean flair. Hotels, restaurants, and condos are springing up around the island.

DAY 3 - Bocas del Toro

Today’s adventure begins with a short boat ride from Bocas Town to Bird Island to observe a wide variety of marine life and birds that migrate to the region each year. The mainland coast and the mountain regions of Panama serve as an exquisite background for photo opportunities. You will then venture to Boca del Drago for swimming, snorkeling, and lunch at a popular restaurant on the tip of Isla Colon (lunch not included). Enjoy the white sand beach and culture that this location has to offer. The full afternoon will be spent at Starfish Beach and a chance to see starfish in the sea. You will go to a beautiful area called the Playa Estrella “pool“ for swimming, snorkeling and nature watching. Late afternoon your adventure returns to Bocas Town

Overnight in Bocas del Toro| Breakfast

DAY 4 - Bocas del Toro

Begin your morning with breakfast at the hotel. Today’s adventure begins with a 40 minutes boat ride to Zapatilla Island to experience an amazing day of swimming, snorkeling, and pure relaxation. You will visit where Survivor, the popular American TV show, was filmed and walk around the entire island. You will then venture to Crawl Cay for snorkeling and have for lunch at an “over-the-water“ restaurant which provides beautiful views of the archipelago islands of Bocas del Toro (lunch not included). Following lunch, you will venture to Coral Cay for snorkeling. Coral Cay is a tiny islet surrounded by mangroves located in a small canal between Bastimentos Island and Popa Island. In afternoon, you will return to Bocas del Toro for overnight.

DAY 5 - Depart

You will be transferred to the Tocumen Airport for your international flight back home.
