Upon arrival at Lisbon airport, you will be met by our representative. Enjoy a panoramic visit to discover the city: the old quarter of Alfama, with the Cathedral downtown and its beautiful squares – Praça do Comercio, Rossio, St. Antonio Church – the historical quarter of Belém, with the Monastery of Jeronimos, the Monument of the Discoveries and the Tower of Belem (a good example of the 16th century’s gothic style). Continue to Fatima with a stop in Santarem to visit the church of the Holy Miracle. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in Fatima.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we will visit the Sanctuary, including the Chapel of the Apparitions and the village of Aljustrel, where some of the apparitions (1917) took place. Follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Sacra, ending at the Calvary Chapel. You will have the chance to participate in activities of the Sanctuary, watching a Mass, or participating in a candlelit procession during the night. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart towards Coimbra to visit the Convent of Santa Teresa where Sister Lucy (a witness of Fatima) lived for more than 5 decades. Continue to Porto: walk along Ribeira, a historic district with great charisma. Visit the magnificent Church of St. Francis, the Cathedral. On the other side of the river, in Vila Nova de Gaia, visit and participate in wine tasting in a cellar of the famous Port Wine. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Breakfast. Departure to visit the city of Braga, an important religious center, where we will visit the famous Cathedral, the Chapel of São Frutuoso, the Sameiro Sanctuary (pilgrimage site). Departure for Spain, to Santiago de Compostela, the third most important city of pilgrimage after Jerusalem and Rome. Possibility of doing a small section of a few kilometers walk on the Portuguese road to Santiago de Compostela. Dinner by your own, and accommodation at the hotel

Breakfast at the hotel. Devotion to our lady of Lourdes. Visit the Grotto, the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, the Basilica of the Rosary, and Via Sacra. In the evening, you can join the candlelit procession. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Santa Maria Hotel
A 2-minute walk from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, this hotel’s modern architecture lets in lots of daylight. It features spacious rooms and art works by Portuguese artists.
