Upon arrival in Beijing, our representative will meet you at airport and assist you in transferring to your hotel. Beijing is the capital of the People’s Republic of China, one of the largest and most populated cities in the world that is full with monuments and great points of interest. Once you check-in, the rest of the day is open at leisure.
Following breakfast, you will visit the Tian An Men Square which is the largest public square in the world, which can hold one million people. You will then visit the Imperial Palace known as the Forbidden City, China’s traditional symbol and a masterpiece of classical architecture. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the Summer Palace, the summer residence of the emperors located about ten kilometers northeast of the city. In the evening, you will be treated to a roasted duck in Quanjude Roast Duck Restaurant.
After breakfast, you will head off to the world famous Great Wall, a colossal architectural work designed for defensive purposes and communication over 6,000 kilometers. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, you will make a photo stop at the Olympic Stadium, known as the “Bird’s Nest” for its characteristic shape of a bird’s nest, and the “Water Cube” Aquatic Center opened at the forefront during the 2008 Olympics
Have breakfast at your hotel before leaving to visit the Temple of Heaven, the immense construction of blue glazed roofs topped by golden balls. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will be transferred to the train station to travel in a high speed train from Beijing to Xi’an (2nd class). Upon arrival in Xi’an, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight. Enjoy the rest of your day to do as you please.
Following breakfast, you will start the day with a visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a well-preserved ancient building and regarded as the city’s symbol and a Chinese calligraphy demonstration to have an understanding of the Chinese characters. Then, you will have time to stop at the Jada Atelier. In the afternoon, you will visit the world famous Terracotta Army, a large number of statues depicting the wagons and warriors of the Imperial Army, each one looks distinctly unique. Enjoy a ravioli lunch at Defachang Restaurant.
Have breakfast at your hotel. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight from Xi'an to Shanghai in economy class. Upon arrival in Shanghai, you will be transferred to your hotel by your local guide
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Following breakfast, you will visit Mandarin Yu Garden, 16th-century Ming style masterpiece which reproduces the typical landscape of the South of the country with small lakes and streams, rocks and the bazaars around it. You will also enjoy the Jade Buddha Temple, with the statue in the precious white material coming from Myanmar, and the Bund, the symbol of Shanghai, where you can view the history of the city. Enjoy a lunch buffet at local restaurant.
Enjoy your morning free at leisure before being transferred to the airport to take your departing flight home
