DAY 1 | ARRIVAL
Upon arrival to Guatemala City, you will be transferred to your hotel in Guatemala City.

DAY 2 | Lake Atitlan
Have breakfast before departing to the Guatemalan Highlands. On the way, you will visit Iximche, an archaeological site that was the old Mayan capital of the Kakchiquel Kingdom. You will proceed to Lake Atitlán. The lake is surrounded by three impressive volcanoes and twelve indigenous villages.

DAY 3 | Lake Atitlan
Have breakfast before being taken to Chichicastenango. In Chichicastenango, you will visit one of the most famous and colorful markets of all Latin America. In the afternoon, you will be transferred back to Lake Atitlán.

DAY 4 | Lake Atitlan
Following breakfast, you will be taken on a morning boat ride to Santiago Atitlán, a Tuzutuhil town settled on the shores of the lake. You will proceed to La Antigua, Guatemala. There will be an orientation tour of the old Colonial capital. You can do some sightseeing around the cathedral, monuments, and museums as well as bookstores, restaurants, art galleries, etc.

DAY 5 | (DEPART)
Enjoy your last breakfast in Guatemala before departure. You will then be transferred to the international airport of Guatemala City depending on your departure time.
An outdoor pool, hot tub and spa with a gym and sauna are offered at this elegant hotel. Each spacious room has a terrace with views over Guatemala City or the surrounding volcanoes.
Barceló Guatemala City offers classic-style rooms with flat-screen cable TV, air conditioning and a safe. A mini-bar, coffee maker and free bottled water are included. Bathrooms come with bathrobes.
The hotel features 25 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 1,500 people. The hotel’s 24-hour reception can organize airport transfers and city tours. Car hire can be arranged, and there is free private parking on site.
The La Pergola Pool Bar has a poolside terrace and serves local and international cuisine. The hotel also has a sports bar and a stylish lobby bar with live music.
Porta Hotel Del Lago Hotel
Set next to Lake Atitlán, Porta Hotel del Lago offers views of the Guatemalan Highlands. It features an outdoor swimming pool, terrace and gym.
Each attractive room has a terrace with lake and volcano views. All rooms have cable TV and a private bathroom.
Cakchiquel and Tocoyal restaurants offer a range of Guatemalan cuisine. Xocomil Bar serves drinks and snacks throughout the day.
Guests can make use of Porta Hotel del Lago’s natural sulfured cold tub and sauna. There is also a children’s club with activities on weekends.
Located in Panajachel, the hotel is just 1.2 miles from Santa Catarina Palapó. Santa Cruz la Laguna is a 20-minute drive away, while Guatemala City is 62.1 miles from the Porta Hotel.
Camino Real Antigua
Camino Real Antigua is located in Antigua Guatemala, about 30 minutes’ drive from Guatemala City. The hotel has an oversized hot tub and a gym.
Antigua Guatemala, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famous for its Baroque architecture. The Central Park and Cathedral are just 6 minutes’ walk away from the hotel.
The luxurious and spacious rooms and suites in Camino Real have a flat-screen TV, iPod dock and laptop safe. They also have a minibar, Wi-Fi, and a bathroom with bathrobe and slippers.
