DAY 1 | (ARRIVAL) Madrid

Welcome to the Spanish capital, Madrid! Upon arrival in Madrid, you will be met and transferred to your hotel by one of our representatives. Relax or take a stroll along tree-lined boulevards. This evening, enjoy a welcome soft drink and orientation with your hostess.

DAY 2 | Madrid

After breakfast, depart for your tour of Madrid. Ride through the main avenues of the city, highlights include the magnificent fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, the Alcala Gate, the Plaza de España, where you will see panoramically the view of most representative buildings. Visit the spectacular Royal Palace which is still in use for Government ceremonies. This afternoon, travel south to Toledo. It was the capital of Spain for several centuries. In XIII and XIVth centuries, Muslim, Jews and Christians populations lived together peacefully becoming a great cultural center. This afternoon, walk along its narrow streets where the history can be felt in the air. Visit the Cathedral from outside and St. Tome Church inside (where is El Greco painter’s masterpiece). Return to Madrid for overnight.

DAY 3 | Granada

After breakfast, depart to Granada. En route, enjoy a short stop in Aranjuez to see the magnificent gardens full of centenary trees of this old summer residence of the Spanish kings. Continue south to discover the large flat region of “La Mancha”, the land where Don Quixote lived his crazy adventures, also Spain’s largest wine producing area. Visit a traditional wine producer where they will show you their way of elaboration and some curious secrets, like the influence of the moon and stars in the biological process of the vineyards. Finish with the tasting of three different wines with tapas of ham, local cheese (very reputed in Spain) and bread, the best way to taste these wines. Afterward, continue to Granada.

DAY 4 | Seville

After breakfast, morning guided city tour to visit La Alhambra, the best example of the sophisticated Royal life in the Nazari Islamic kingdom from the XI to XVth century. Find numerous halls and “patios“ (courtyards) of amazing beauty. We will also visit the famous and beautiful Generalife gardens with its fountains. In the afternoon, continue to Seville.

DAY 5 | Seville

Morning guided tour to visit inside the Gothic Cathedral, the largest in Spain and third in the world with the burial of Christopher Columbus discoverer of America. You can walk up the Giralda tower (striking minaret of the former mosque) to have a superb view over the city. Walk by Santa Cruz Quarter, a maze of small alleys and small squares with the peacefulness of a tiny garden is an invitation to rest. In the afternoon, you will enjoy an introductory and practical Flamenco lesson dancing with a professional dancer. Optional: Enjoy a professional Flamenco show (purchased locally).

DAY 6 | Madrid

After breakfast, visit an Andalusian horse farm (yeguada) to see a normal day of training and learn about the breeding and taming of these amazing horses. Afterward, travel north to Cordoba. Cordoba, during the Roman age, this city was important, but during the Moslem domination it reached the maximum splendor, especially in the IX and Xth centuries, when Cordoba became the capital of the Caliphate, was the most populated town in the world (almost 1 million). Morning guided city tour, to visit the Mosque. Then, a walk around the Jewish Quarter, with its narrow streets and Andalusia “patios’’. In the afternoon, continue to Madrid.

DAY 7 | (DEPART) Madrid

Begin your morning with breakfast at the hotel. The rest of your day is at leisure. You will be transferred to the airport at the appropriate time for your departing flight.

NH Collection Madrid Abascal is a former embassy building in central Madrid, next to Paseo de la Castellana. It has free WiFi, a free gym, and an attractive terrace.

Modern rooms offer a Nespresso machine, free water, a kettle, and a 46-inch flat-screen TV. The private bathrooms come with a professional hairdryer and a rain-effect shower.

NH Collection Madrid Abascal offers a healthy breakfast. There is also a restaurant, open for lunch and dinner. It serves characteristic national cuisine, as well as many international dishes. The hotel also offers several meeting and events rooms.

The Abascal is located in the commercial heart of the city. Gregorio Marañón and Alonso Cano Metro Stations are both within 5 minutes’ walk. The historic center is just 4 stops away by Metro.

There is also direct access to Madrid Barajas Airport and IFEMA Trade Fair. The famous Art Triangle is just a short bus journey away.

Chamberi is a great choice for travelers interested in culture, food and monuments.

Barceló Granada Congress

Barceló Granada Congress is within a few feet of Calle Recogidas Street and 1,650 feet from the Palacio de Congresos Conference Center. Free Wifi is provided throughout the property.

The spacious rooms at the Barceló Granada Congress have a flat-screen TV, safe, mini-bar and a private bathroom.

There are also 10 function rooms available for hire for meetings or events.

The Barceló Granada Congress serves a varied buffet breakfast and Arrozante restaurant offers traditional Andalusian rice dishes. There is also a piano bar and 24-hour room service is available.

Featuring views of the Sierra Nevada and Alhambra, the hotel spa is available at an extra cost and offers a range of treatments. There is also a small gym available for guests.

The Barceló Granada Congress is located in one of Granada’s main commercial districts.

 Seville Center Hotel

Hotel Sevilla Center is a 15-minute walk from Seville’s historic quarter, next to the Buhaira Gardens. It features a seasonal swimming pool on the third floor, a restaurant with panoramic views and free Wi-Fi.

Rooms at the Sevilla Center are spacious and have traditional décor. Each has air conditioning, satellite TV and a minibar.

The Al-Zagal restaurant is on the 13th floor and serves a range of gourmet Mediterranean cuisine. There is also a daily buffet breakfast. Grilled dishes are offered on the rooftop terrace during the summer months.

The Sevilla features an on-site gym. Guests can also use the hotel’s sauna and hot tub.

The Center is within walking distance of many of Seville’s tourist attractions. The city’s cathedral is a 20-minute walk away, and the Bull Ring is just over one mile away. Plaza de España can be reached in 15 minutes, by foot.

The hotel is 600 feet from the subway stop, where you can also catch the bus to Sevilla Airport.
