While it is our intention to adhere to the route described, there is a certain amount of flexibility built into the itinerary and on occasion it may be necessary, or desirable, to make alterations. On Day 1 of the tour, you will be advised of any amendments.
When you arrive at Noi Bai International airport in Hanoi, you’ll be smilingly met and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day will be all yours to stroll around the Old Quarter of Hanoi

Have breakfast at your hotel before visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed Mondays & Fridays and through October – November for maintenance). You will visit the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Art Museum, and the Historical Museum as well. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will go on a panoramic cyclo tour, followed by a visit to Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake. You will drop by Thang Long Theatre to enjoy a famous water puppet show. This Vietnamese traditional art originates from rural festivals in Vietnam. The artists stand waist-deep in the water to manipulate the puppets, making them move about, talk, laugh and even dance on the water surface.

Following breakfast, you will go the Temple of Literature before proceeding to Halong for 2 days and 1-night cruise. In Halong, you will board the junk. Check-in time is between 12:30 to 1 P.M. Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. Seafood lunch will be served on board. A fantastic cruise in Halong Bay will take you to visit some of the islands and caves. You will have the opportunity to swim at Titov Beach.

Discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Its sizeable community of foreign merchants resulted in a unique architectural style with Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese influences. You will visit the Phuc Kien Hall, Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, and a silk workshop here. Lunch will be served at your hotel. The rest of your day is open leisure.

Have breakfast at your hotel before heading to Danang. You will visit a carving village at Marble Mountain and the Cham Museum. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Proceed to Hue via Hai Van Pass where you will visit the Imperial Citadel and Dong Ba Market.

Have breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a boat trip on the Perfume River. You will visit Thien Mu Pagoda before continuing onto Tu Duc Tomb. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Following lunch, you will continue to visit Khai Dinh Tomb and an incense making village. You will be taken to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City (not included, to be booked by agent). Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will meet your guide and be transferred to your hotel to check in.

Have breakfast at your hotel before visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels, an amazing complex of the underground tunnels used during the Vietnam War before you return to Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will visit the War Remnants Museum, the former Presidential Palace, and take quick photo stops at Notre Dame Church and the Central Post Office.
