Wanna go to Abu Dhabi, here’s what you need to know.

Travelers to Abu Dhabi will be required to present a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test received within 96 hours prior to their scheduled departure.

Upon entering the emirate, travelers will be given a PCR test at the airport and must wait for the negative result to be received. All travelers originating from the United States will be required to self-isolate for 10 days, regardless of vaccination status.

All travelers will need to take a PCR test on day six for those staying for six days or more, and on day 12 for those staying for 12 days or more


Wearing masks in the UAE is mandatory for all in public places, public transportation or commercial centers when walking outside in high-density public areas and in private transportation.

Physical distancing must be observed at all times. A distance of at least 2 meters is recommended for safety.

Head to your home or hotel if you are required to quarantine, you must self-isolate in your home or hotel for 10 days or 5 days if fully
vaccinated and you are a UAE national or resident. If you are travelling from a country deemed high-risk by the UAE authorities, you may be subject to quarantine in a government facility


Tourists will bear the costs of examination and treatment abroad, in the event, they are infected with COVID-19, so are advised to have international health insurance coverage that covers COVID-19 before traveling.


Visitors coming in from other destinations who wish to enter Abu Dhabi through neighboring emirates will need to present a negative COVID-19 test result within 48 hours of receiving the examination, in addition to undergoing a quarantine period in Abu Dhabi if they have been in the UAE for less than 10 days (quarantine period requirement depends on the number of days spent in the UAE prior to entry into Abu Dhabi).
